Standard Five
This week we will address Standard Five- Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning. Follow each link below to identify ways you can collect evidence for each of the sub-standards. If you are not involved in actual assessment tasks and reporting at your school then you will need to indicate what you would do if you were required to formally assess and report student outcomes. You need to be able to articulate the processes and policies in place in your school for collecting student data at class, year and school level both formally and informally.
5.1 Assess student learning
5.2 Provide feedback to students on their learning
5.3 Make consistent and comparable judgements
5.4 Interpret student data
5.5 Report on student achievement
Use pages 20-22 of the TRBWA Evidence Guide to help you determine how you will write your response for Standard 5.
