Performance Management at the school level is the first tier of performance appraisal that teachers are now required to undertake. The PM process, while guided by systemic policies and procedures, is usually determined at the school. It is therefore imperative that teachers find out the exact procedure that will be undertaken at his or her school.
So what is Performance Management? Under governing legislation and common law, an employee is required to carry out duties and responsibilities with due competence and care, in accordance with the requirements of their role.
