Participants who undertake the Challenge will be guided through a series of tasks designed to deconstruct the process of establishing a professional teaching portfolio and collecting evidence to support the Standards. This will be done by:
- Identifying the three different levels of performance appraisal required by teachers and providing resources to help address each level;
- Identifying key components of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and providing guidance in understanding what each standard may look like and how evidence can be collected to address that standard; and
- Assisting teachers in the development of a professional portfolio that reflects their growth as an educator.
